
Last weekend, one of the major highlights of the racing season took place in Slavkov/Czech Rep., close to the Austrian Border. The Kyosho World Cup Final is one of the most exciting and toughest brand trophy event throughout the year in manufacturers cup racing. Now in its 13th year it is the second time after 6 years that the event takes place in Slavkov. After days of rain all teams arrived to perfect weather conditions with am almost dry race track which has been fully refurbished with a new super smooth tarmac on the Auto Bayer Arena. The race track is very exciting to drive and is also the home track of the popular Czech driver Martin Bayer.

Continuing on with the recent releases by Pro-Line, the US company have introduced some new items for 1/8th scale off road vehicles. First up are these closed cell foam inserts that feature channels to capture the tire so the carcass flex is kept to a minimum. This removes air gaps in between the tire and ensures it is perfectly balanced. This can also be re used which is just in time for Pro-Line’s next release which are ‘a la carte’ tires that means you can now buy your favourite thread and compound in a set of 4, without foam. Finally you can now also get your favourite VTR 4.0″ threads pre mounted on zero offset yellow and white Velocity VTR rims.
