We strongly recommend using #106210 HUDY Graphite Grease for the drive shaft coupling, especially for the front drive shafts. When the coupling is not greased it may cause wheel vibration when full steering is used.
. Therefore it is very important to grease the couplings very often in order to remove wheel vibrations.
. When building the drive shafts, start by greasing the coupling and inserting it into the shaft as shown.
. Then install pin into the drive axle in order to connect the drive axle to the shaft.
. It is very important to use thread lock for the hex screw, otherwise the screw may unscrew. Use only a small amount of medium-grade (blue) thread lock on the screw.
. After applying threadlock to the screw, install the screw as shown. Remove any excess threadlock.

▼Tamiya Fair 2007 was held from November 23rd to November 24th, and 33,000 visitors came to pack Shizuoka City’s Twin Messe convention center. This year was the 9th year in which Tamiya Fair was held, and the theme was “A Hobby Festival for All to Enjoy.” Not only were visitors able to see exciting new Tamiya products, they were also able to take part in various fun events and shop for special event-only items.
▼Tamiya Fair was housed in both the North and South Halls of the Twin Messe Shizuoka. In the North hall, 58 drivers from all across Japan and 14 drivers from Europe, America, and Asia competed in the prestigious Tamiya World Championship R/C races on a custom-made indoor circuit. In addition, the Shizuoka Prefecture Model Club Joint Exposition showcased the masterpieces of local model builders, and visitors were also treated to displays featuring actual race cars the GT300 class WILLCOM ADVAN Vemac 408R.
▼The South Hall featured many hands-on events in conjunction with the “Fuji-no-Kuni Shizuoka Prefecture Traffic Safety Fair.” These events were tailored for many of our younger visitors, with the Mini 4WD Magnum GP 2007 attracting over 400 participants and the Junior Cup featuring 380 elementary school-aged racers. Nearby was the dramatic combat of the R/C Tank Owners’ Meeting, Dangun Racer Building Corner, Robocraft Hands-On Corner, Accessory-Making Corner, as well as the lively R/C Demonstration Corner.
▼Tamiya Fair 2007 was a tremendous success, but we have more exciting plans in store for 2008, so please come again next year!

The famous EFRA Grand Prix in Prague for touring cars 2007 took place during November. This event has attracted more and more attention in recent years and is now the most popular touring car race in the Eastern part of Europe. In addition to the large amount of national and local drivers, top drivers from all over Europe joined the race which is held in the capital of Czech Republic. Steen Graversen, Martin Hudy, Steven Weiss, Dirk Wischnewski, Hupo Hönigl and Andreas Myrberg are just a few names worth mentioning.
After 5 qualification runs on Saturday, the starting grid for racing Sunday showed as follows: Martin Hudy on pole in front of Steen Graversen and Andreas Myrberg on 3rd.
The first A Main saw Martin Hudy with a really well handling car at the front of the pack. He took a strong win in front of Steen Graversen and had a perfect run, as he was the only driver to be able to reach 24 laps in one run.
The second final was more thrilling as the audience could witness some really close racing action at the top. Just seconds after the start, Martin Hudy dropped back to 4th place due to a traction roll. The Danish driver Graversen took advantage of this mistake and stole the lead. A lead which he kept all the way to the finish line, to finish 1st in front of Hudy, the local hero Michal Bok and German driver Steven Weiss. Hudy and Graversen were now tied on the same points, one 1st and one 2nd place. Now it was all down to the last and deciding final.
The 3rd and final race was perhaps the most thrilling one to watch. Hudy and Graversen both had a great start. Hudy tried everything to keep Graversen behind him and drove the curves as tight as possible. After racing side-by-side for many laps, Hudy dropped back to place 4 because of a minor accident. Steen Graversen passed him and secured his 2nd victory as well as the overall win at the EFRA grand prix in Prague 2007.
The track layout in Prague was very technical. Therefore you need not only good power but also very good throttle feeling. Exactly for this reason, all the A Main drivers relied on Brushless power. In addition to this, 7 out of 10 finalists used the LRP SPHERE Competition TC-Spec.

Main Target
As a special part manufacturer as Option Team, always connected with competitions, a World Championship title is the main target.
Furthermore, if the final standings is with 6 of your drivers in the first places… then success become a dream!
2004 World Championship
Furulund – Sweden
This is what happened in 2004 in Sweden, being exactly at Furulund, where official drivers of the Italian factory leaded by French Guillame Vray, dominated the final round of Buggy 1/8 car models World Championship, leaving to the closest contender the seventh place.
On the hard and selective Swedish track, in fact, Option Team drivers took benefit from a lot of Ergal special parts for making stronger the chassis and improving its performances.
A so extraordinary result that left no space to replies, a deserving conclusion to a triumphal race season, enriched by the Italian Championship victory with the strong Tuscan driver Samuele Lenzi and an European Title gone just for a dime.
2006 World Championship
Giacarta
Then confirmation arrived in 2006, with World Championship in Giacarta and the triumph of Mark Parvidis, Kyosho driver all along involved in the Option Team products development.
In that occasion was designed the new dampers with 13 mm body that made unreachable the American driver’s 777 car.
